club tuross bowls

welcome to club tuross bowling club

Welcome to Club Tuross Bowling Club, established over 60 years ago. We are a fun and well established club located in beautiful Tuross Head.

Tuross Head is a quiet seaside community located on a headland that juts out into the Tasman Sea with Coila Lake to the north and Tuross Lake and Tuross River to the south making the headland virtually surrounded by water.

Situated halfway between Moruya and Narooma, a four and a half hour drive from Sydney, and 2 and a half hour drive from Canberra.

Lawn bowls is a terrific social sport for people of any age. It is a low-impact form of exercise which is easy to learn but challenging to master.

Our manicured Greens are perched high with tremendous views over Tuross Head. Come and give lawn bowls and try if you’re looking for a friendly game of social bowls or join one of our teams if you want to take up a competitive sport

We welcome new members. Coaching is free for those new to the sport. Whilst you are learning we provide bowls. Until competing for the Club uniform is not required, however, flat soled shoes are essential. There is no obligation to join until you are sure bowling is for you!. Please feel free to call our friendly team on (02) 4473 8186 for any questions you may have or pop down on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Sunday and meet the members in person.

social bowls

Tuross Head Bowling Club features 2 well-maintained greens and has a dedicated Bowls Committee that organises a regular social bowls program for all members. Our social bowling matches are friendly, competitive and fun. Experienced bowlers are always on hand to help visitors improve their technique. Free coaching is available for those interested in the sport of lawn bowls. For further information on joining a social game and to find out playing days and times please phone the Club on (02) 4473 8186.

barefoot bowls

Barefoot bowls can be booked for a casual game with family and friends, corporate groups or barefoot bowl parties. Our relaxed, friendly atmosphere provides the ideal setting to enjoy a fun barefoot bowling experience. Combine games with our function menus for a great day out for corporate functions, staff parties, Christmas parties, birthday parties, hens/bucks/stag parties and other special occasions. For those new to bowls one of our team members can provide a short and informative bowling lesson before you start your game. For those interested there is an ‘organised’ barefoot bowls event on Sunday mornings – 9.30 for a 10 am start. Just turn up!!
